It began when Pippa came up with her 'Ode' with the floor campaign being launched to coincide with our opening on the 1st June 2008.

The response was fantastic that so many of you wished to help and purchased tiles to get us going.

When we drew the winner nearly 1000 tiles had been sold and from the bottom of hearts we would like to thank each and everyone.

That was the easy bit, now we had to lay them, remove the old floor that had been there for over 40 years we were told and keep the shop open throughout. Everyone was so tolerant during this period as the shop looked like a bomb had hit it and we had no idea where anything was.
